ASP EXPANDABLE BATON COURSE

This class is for Unarmed Security Officers, Armed Security Officers, Special Conservators, Bondsman, Police Officers, or any other person with a valid DCJS registration.

Do you work as an Unarmed Security Officer, Armed Police or Security Officer?  Are you carrying a piece of equipment that you have never been trained on?  Have you been taught strikes and blocks but no restraint options with your straight or expandable baton?  Do you have another force option?  Do you want to reduce your liability?  Then you need the ASP Course!

BASIC - (8 hours) Covers  Baton Nomenclature - The Appropriate Use of Force - The Escalation of Trauma Chart - Patterns of Movement - Balance Stance - Baton Grips - Baton Methods of Carry - Baton Draws - Baton Two-Handed Blocks - Baton Counter-Strikes - Baton Retention. 

  (must have a minimum of 2 students to a maximum of 6 students)
